Baptism of Children

“See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and that is what we are.”

  - 1 John 3:1

Baptism is our birth as Christians, our birth as "other Christs."

Through many centuries Christians loved to view the baptismal font as the womb of holy Mother Church; for at the font her children come forth alive with a new and higher life  -  that of God Himself.

It is with great joy that we welcome you as you journey in faith and seek Baptism for your child, welcoming him/her into the Catholic Church and the faith community of Corpus Christi.

As we embark on this sacred journey together, we eagerly anticipate embracing another cherished member into our parish family. Through the Sacrament of Baptism, we reaffirm our commitment to our Catholic faith and tradition, recognizing this moment as the foundation of our spiritual path.

We ask you to look at the Ascension Press page on baptism and take their program: Belonging: Baptism in the Family of God, to prepare for our meeting here at our parish. Here is an introductory video sharing on how the program has helped many in their faith journey.
