Alpha is a series of eight to ten sessions, each week generally lasting one and half to two hours. You are welcome to give it a try one week to see if it’s a fit for you. There’s no pressure to return. You can always invite someone along with you as well!

Corpus Christi's Alpha sessions will begin in January 2026.

Meet new people

Connecting with others is what we were made for. All sessions start with a time to connect over food, eliminating awkwardness and creating space for important conversations. You are welcome to come alone or to bring a friend or family member with you, and expect to make new friends throughout the sessions.

Unpack a big question

Small films with big ideas: Each evening features a 25-minute film designed to inspire more questions than provide answers. These short films explore the big issues around faith, and guests from any background can unpack the basics of Christian faith. Bring your questions, you’ll find you’re not alone.

Have an open conversation

Discuss the questions that matter to you: After the film discussion in small groups is where you can share your thoughts and hear from others. Those who attend Alpha share that their small group discussions are hands-down the best part of the experience. The goal is conversation, not consensus.

Alpha for Catholics

Alpha aims to create a space for people from all walks of life, whether they are deeply religious, curious, skeptical, or just exploring.

A Journey to Belonging

For many, Alpha is a journey to discovery or deepening of faith. For Marianne of St. Ignatius in Montreal, it was a journey to belonging.
